Job Summary
The HORECA Key Account Manager plays a focal point role between Emkay Foods and its customers. Their role is to understand the customers’ needs very well and to serve them accordingly, and to co-develop solutions that address further needs with Emkay Foods’ team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Establishing good rapport with clients.
- Generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks
- Achieving sales targets
- Preparing reports on accounts and transactions.
- Tracking account targets and Monitoring sales aligned with company objectives
- Monitor sales metrics (quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Developing a thorough understanding of key clients’ needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions.
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client’s long-term goals.
- Strategic planning to improve client results
- Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a proactive, driven self-starter with a get-it-done attitude.
Ideally, the candidate would have:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of experience in HORECA Sales
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, processes, and strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Very good command of both Arabic and English
- Having a car or access to a mode of transportation is essential for this role
