Job Summary
The Sales Executive at Emkay Foods plays a focal point role between Emkay Foods and its customers. Their role is to understand the customers’ needs very well and to serve them accordingly, and to co-develop solutions that address further needs with Emkay Foods’ team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with clients.
- Driving new sales through existing and potential customer networks.
- Meeting sales targets.
- Creating reports on accounts and transactions.
- Tracking account goals and monitoring sales in line with company objectives.
- Analyzing sales metrics (quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Recommending actions to enhance sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Managing a portfolio of accounts to ensure long-term success.
- Developing trust-based relationships with clients that are aligned with Emkay Foods’ values and approach.
- Gaining a deep understanding of key clients’ needs and preparing tailored solutions.
- Strengthening relationships with existing customers by consistently proposing solutions that align with their goals.
- Ensuring timely delivery of correct products and services to customers.
- Acting as the communication link between key customers and internal teams.
- Resolving customer issues and complaints to maintain trust.
- Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting deadlines for achieving each client’s long-term goals.
- Strategic planning to improve client outcomes.
- Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit through up-selling or cross-selling.
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a proactive, driven self-starter with a get-it-done attitude.
Ideally, the candidate would have:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, ideally in the food/foodservice sector
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, processes, and strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Very good command of both Arabic and English
- Having a car or access to a mode of transportation is essential for this role
