Job Summary

The Sales Executive at Emkay Foods plays a focal point role between Emkay Foods and its customers. Their role is to understand the customers’ needs very well and to serve them accordingly, and to co-develop solutions that address further needs with Emkay Foods’ team. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships with clients.
  • Driving new sales through existing and potential customer networks.
  • Meeting sales targets.
  • Creating reports on accounts and transactions.
  • Tracking account goals and monitoring sales in line with company objectives.
  • Analyzing sales metrics (quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Recommending actions to enhance sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts to ensure long-term success.
  • Developing trust-based relationships with clients that are aligned with Emkay Foods’ values and approach.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of key clients’ needs and preparing tailored solutions.
  • Strengthening relationships with existing customers by consistently proposing solutions that align with their goals.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of correct products and services to customers.
  • Acting as the communication link between key customers and internal teams.
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints to maintain trust.
  • Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting deadlines for achieving each client’s long-term goals.
  • Strategic planning to improve client outcomes.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit through up-selling or cross-selling.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a proactive, driven self-starter with a get-it-done attitude.

Ideally, the candidate would have:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, ideally in the food/foodservice sector
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies, processes, and strategies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Very good command of both Arabic and English
  • Having a car or access to a mode of transportation is essential for this role
